Mercator Partners’ Managers assume significant responsibility on case teams and take an active role in managing projects. They structure and frame problems, lead projects, develop key findings, and deliver client recommendations. They are also deeply involved in day-to-day client management, working closely with clients to ensure realization of results. Because our teams often operate in uncharted territory, our Managers must take the initiative and have a healthy tolerance for uncertainty. Managers have a strong understanding of business strategy and structured problem solving, as well as significant knowledge of the issues facing firms in the ICT sectors. They must work with people at all levels of an organization – from the client team members with whom we work on a day-to-day basis, to the chief executive officer whose understanding and acceptance of our recommendations is critical.
