We work in collaborative case teams, which typically include a Partner, a Manager and a number of Consultants and Associates. New recruits typically join the firm as an Associate, Consultant or Manager, depending on their education and professional experience. Associates normally join straight after college or after less than two years’ relevant work experience. Consultants are either promoted from the Associate role, or join the firm after two to three years’ relevant experience. Our Managers, typically have either an MBA or significant relevant industry experience. Once recruits join Mercator Partners, progression through the firm is based solely on demonstrated ability. As an active member of the firm, team members are given the opportunity to take on as much responsibility as they are able to handle, allowing those who thrive in this sort of environment to progress rapidly.
